First non-Myanmar fighter to win the Openweight Golden Belt in December 2016. Canadian-born, former MMA competitor who committed to traditional Lethwei and became the sport's most visible international ambassador. With the Golden Belt on the line at the 2016 Air KBZ Aung Lan Championship in Yangon, Leduc targeted Tun Tun Min's leg with push kicks before catching a high kick in round 3. Tun Tun Min twisted his knee on the landing and took the injury time-out, but after being thrown again he forfeited in round 3 — making Leduc the first non-Burmese fighter to hold the Openweight Golden Belt.
Leduc's WLC debut, and the main event of WLC 9: King of Nine Limbs in Mandalay. An elbow strike opened a cut on Baczynski's ear, and Leduc finished him with punches in round 2 to win the inaugural WLC Cruiserweight World Championship.
The trilogy decider at a sold-out Thein Pyu Stadium in Yangon, billed "The Biggest Fight in Lethwei History." Leduc knocked Tun Tun Min out with an elbow in round 1; Tun Tun Min used his injury time-out and fought on, and the bout went the full five rounds without another knockout, ending in a draw under traditional rules that let Leduc retain the Golden Belt. Cumulative viewership reached 37 million — the largest audience in Lethwei history.
